Global growth funds aim to capture the growth of global equities and are a great way for individual investors to gain exposure to a range of markets and effectively diversify away their risk, whilst circumventing the complex issues and high costs that are commonly associated with global investments. The AIC classification of global growth investment trusts only stipulates that they need to have less than 80% of their assets in any one geographical area, this rather loose guideline results in an extremely diverse mix of assets in this sector. ...
